OLA Superconference Presentation Material
Just last week I had the opportunity to present at SuperConference 2013 (#SC13) and I must say I'm really excited that the selection committee took a chance with our presentation. The Arduino technology is so much fun you can barely tell you are learning about electronics.
We did some neato things with the presentation to help establish our Nerd cred:
- Homemade document camera to let the audience see the gear without squinting
- Handcoded the slides with reveal.js (can be done in Markdown as well)
- Bounced our demo laptop off of 3G so we could do live demos (that all worked)
- Posted the presentation on GitHub as well as on the Library Website.
I want to thank the true belivers for attending and demonstrating that there is a niche for this in Library Land.
I'll attempt and iframe here but I probably shouldn't
Almost forgot. OLITA has a Arduino kit you can borrow if you're interested.
